April in Kentucky
April is a Fan-tastic month for the Hotel. Our Hilton Lexington / Downtown Hotel is always packed this time of year with enthusiastic horse racing fans that have traveled from around the world to attend Keeneland. Our guests have been so devoted they haven’t even let a few rainy days stop them from attending the races this year.
Speaking of enthusiastic we are again honored and excited to be the flag ship hotel for the Maker’s Mark Ambassadors. The Maker’s Mark Mile brings these patrons in every year and they are having a blast. The Bigg Blue Martini has turned into a sea of Red and the Maker’s Mark is flowing!

Yes Eric is still serving drinks nightly here at the Lexington Downtown Hotel. Thanks for the compliment and I will be sure to pass this along to him.

Hi !
My husband and are from the Pittsburgh , Pa area and will be attending the “Coal Show” again this year. We always enjoy going to the “Bigg Blue Martini” ! And are always so thrilled to see one of the best Bartenders around ……Eric Ackerman !
So, I’m just checking to see if he is still working there. I would appreciate if you would just let me know. I sent him an e-mail that it was that time of year again…..but, not sure how often he checks his e-mail ! Love the Bigg Blue ! Will see you all soon ! Have a groovy day !
